If you’re reading this, feeling like the year’s already slipping through your fingers…This one’s for you.
Today, July 2nd, we have officially reached the middle of the year. I know, we had plans. Big ones. You started the year with vision, intention, maybe even a little f:fire in your belly. You told yourself: “This the year I’m finally gon’ get it right”. The year you’d become more disciplined. More at peace. More in love. More you.
But now? Here we are. And instead of feeling accomplished, you’re sitting wondering where the time went. Wondering why your life doesn’t look like the one you envisioned. Wondering if you somehow missed the moment where things were supposed to all fall into place.
And I want to say this gently: You didn’t miss anything. You’re not late. You’re not behind. You’re not broken.
We’re just living through the part nobody talks about.
The middle.
The stretch.
The sacred messiness of becoming.

When I look at my own year so far, I’m not gonna lie – it’s been humbling. I thought I’d be further in my goals. I thought I’d be experiencing bigger wins, feeling more in control and have everything sorted out. But instead, I’ve had to let go of timelines and older versions of myself. I’ve had to accept quiet growth. I’ve had to trust that just because it doesn’t look like progress doesn’t mean there isn’t transformation happening underneath the surface.
And even when things felt slow, I still showed up. Not always perfectly. Not always confidently. But I showed up.
- I showed up for my healing, even when it was inconvenient.
- I showed up for my creativity, even when inspiration felt like a ghost.
- I showed up for my inner peace, even if it meant disappointing others.
- I showed up for rest, softness, stillness – things the world doesn’t always clap for, especially when it comes to accomplishing big goals.
So no, my life doesn’t look like my vision board yet. But when I sit back and look at the bigger picture, I am proud of the woman I’m becoming. I’ve had to redefine what progress means. And seriously, sometimes, it’s not about checking off goals, grinding and having big wins. Often progress is quiet. It’s about choosing yourself, over and over, even when no one’s watching.
And you? If you’re in that space too? Let me be the one to tell you:
You are allowed to pause.
You are allowed to pivot.
You are allowed to be in process.

Don’t let hustle culture trick you into thinking you’re failing just because your glow-up hasn’t gone viral yet. Real growth is slow, sacred, and often invisible. It looks like boundaries. Like crying on the kitchen floor and still getting up the next morning. Like letting go of versions of you that no longer fit.
So if you’re in a season that feels uncertain, know that you’re not alone. You’re not late. You’re aligning. And alignment is a big win that takes time.
Keep tending to your inner garden. Water your joy. Protect your peace. Choose your softness. The blooms are coming.
You’re not falling behind. You’re simply becoming. And baby, you are becoming something divine.
