Fabulous Findings for August

Can’t believe we’re already in August. It feels like New Year’s eve was only yesterday. Yet, here we are.  And just like any other month, I have a little list of things I would love to have in my home. Or in this case, visit. Gymshark Utra Seamless Set Since I started running, I got myself one pair leggings and one windjacket. I didn’t want to buy more because knowing myself, I wasn’t sure I was gonna enjoy it. I had already bought a pair of somewhat expensive sneakers due to my knees, we had to limit the spending somewhere. But I’ve been running for 2 months now and I think I deserve some new additions to my running gear. Reuseable waterbottle For my new (ginger)water addiction. Stay hydrated in style. 5 Pink blazer dresses to die for

Almost 2 months ago I attended the wedding of my lovely cousin. I had been looking forward to her wedding for quite some time, but I hadn’t prepared my wardrobe for it. Something had to work out. It didn’t. As always, I ended up looking like Cinderella’s stepsister trying on the glass shoe. Only one of the dresses was a meh, but it wasn’t a full on yasssss. It was a blazer dress in dusty pink. Dusty pink is perfect for my doll-like sister. Not so much for me. The fit was good tho. So we made it …

Photo diary: my getaway as a unicorn

Or as a mermaid, whichever mystical creature floats your boat. But I went to Curacao keeping in mind that I was gonna sparkle like a unicorn. And no less. Why? Because for the past few months I had to look as normal as possible (whatever the hell that means) for job interviews. So I had to refrain from bold and long nails, crazy hair colors or outrageous hairstyles. After being turned down so often, because of my vacation plans (which I totally understand), I felt like I needed to turn my shine on again. How? I told my braidstylist that I wanted a hidden rainbow, and my nailtech that I wanted nails to match my rainbow hair.

I was so ready to go to Curacao and have a great time. Why don’t you take a look at what I did and where I went during my first few days on the island.
